  All I can say is 'wow'. I have a 595 keypad lock that stopped working. I called customer service to check my options. Jenifer answered, was very courteous, friendly, and professional. After she took all my info and checked if there is a new one is stock, she told me a new unit was on it's way. In this day and age there are too few companies that work this way and stand behind their product. I recently updated all locks in my house with new Schlages, I'm glad I did. Thanks.

  In 2001, I bought a Schlage handleset that came with a door knocker. The finish on both has failed. Customer Service is sending a replacement handleset but refuses to replace the knocker, saying that it only carries a one-year warranty. Buyer beware! The claims on this page would lead you to believe that Schlage's warranty applies to all of their "high quality door hardware," but they may tell you later that the lifetime warranty doesn't apply to some parts.

  I just called customer service to see if our Schlage BE365 Deadbolt Keypad Lock was covered under the warranty. I spoke with Jenifer and she was fantastic to say the very least! She gathered all our information very professionally, made sure they had our locks in stock and is shipping us two new units. WOW!!! SCHLAGE is a fantastic Company and their "Customer Service Department" are the utmost! Schlage for Life Customer!

  Just called customer support and spoke with Alan about my malfunctioning older schlage garage door key lock. He was VERY courteous and helpful and went out of his way to get a replacement lock sent out to me. Call took approx 5 to 10 minutes to provide necessary information on the lock and my address. I am completely satisfied with this customer service experience and applaud Schlage and their employee's for making me a lifelong Schlage customer. Thank you!

  I did not install the exterior locks on our home built in 2010, and I was unaware Schlage had a warranty until some of the locks stopped working within the last several months. When I was shopping on the Lowe's site for new locks I saw the Schlage warranty and went to the Schlage website. Even though I do not still have the purchase receipt, a courteous and knowledgeable representative listened to my situation, and within 10 minutes I have new locks on the way. In the process of building a home I have had dealings with several companies, and Schlage (along with Moen) stands at the top.

  My story is similar to others here. My fifteen-plus-year-old Schlage doorknob, installed by a contractor who replaced our doors, simply stopped working. While casting about for a replacement, I read about the company's lifetime warranty. Needless to say, I was skeptical -- who honors warranties these days? I called and also spoke with Jennifer. She found a replacement and said it would arrive in ten days. She was wrong. It arrived in nine. There were no questions asked, she did not require receiving the defective doorknob or proof of purchase. Installation was a snap. And guess what? The new know also has a lifetime warranty. Schlage, you are amazing. And yes, I love you. I can't help it!
